If you’re following us on social media, you’ll know that we now offer Scalp Micropigmentation in Bromley. The exciting new treatment, which we know will help so many people suffering from hair loss, will be delivered by no other than Becky’s husband, George!

Yes, George is now fully trained in Scalp Micropigmentation. So, if you’re interested in this hair loss solution, read on to find out more.

What is Scalp Micropigmentation?

Scalp Micropigmentation (also known as SMP) involves creating the illusion of hair follicles on the scalp. Like people have tattoos on their bodies or microbladed brows, scalp micropigmentation is a method of implanting pigment into the scalp with an electric tattoo device.

Who can benefit from SMP?

Our Scalp Micropigmentation treatment is tailored to the needs of each client. So whether you are suffering from male pattern baldness, female pattern baldness, alopecia, hair loss caused by cancer treatment or another medical condition, SMP can help. We’ll fill in any bald spots or areas of thinning, using SMP to create the look of hair follicles and give that classic ‘buzz cut’ finish.

SMP can also help people with widened partings, which a lot of women (in particular) experience as they get older, and receding hairlines – another sign of ageing. Scalp tattoos can create the illusion of hair depth and volume while helping you regain confidence in your appearance.

We appreciate that no one wants to lose their hair and that it can be particularly distressing. But if you have visited your GP (to rule out any underlying medical conditions) and are looking for a hair loss solution that is safe and effective, come and chat with us about SMP. George is offering free consultations so you can see if it’s the right hair loss treatment for you.

How long does micropigmentation last on the scalp?

SMP is a semi-permanent treatment that can last up to 6 years. However, the pigment colour will likely fade over time as the skin naturally exfoliates. With this in mind, we recommend that most clients book in for maintenance treatments every 3-4 years. But, again, this is something we can discuss at your consultation once we have a chance to assess your scalp and skin type.

How much does scalp micropigmentation cost?

Scalp micropigmentation UK costs vary depending on the scale of the treatment you require and the practitioner’s experience. Our treatments range from £450 – £2000 depending on the needs of the individual. You will receive a price for your treatment at your free SMP consultation with George.

Is SMP a good idea?

It’s very unlikely that you’ll have any scalp micropigmentation regrets. We make it our mission during the consultation stage to ensure it’s 100% the best hair loss treatment for you. So yes, if you are suffering from hair loss or struggling with regrowth and it negatively impacts the way you feel about yourself, we think scalp micropigmentation is a great route to go down.
