Fat Dissolving Injections
For small areas such as the jowls and chin, just one session can dramatically reduce fat deposits and return a more youthful and defined facial contour. For larger areas like tummies, bingo wings and bums you may need up to 5 sessions to see dramatic results.
A water-based solution is injected into the fatty tissue, surrounds the cells and destroys them. The remains of the fat cells are then excreted by the body safely as waste. This is used for people who want to get rid of stubborn areas of fat in their faces and in their bodies and is clinically proven for these purposes.

How the process works
At your appointment a full consultation will take place to ensure this is the best treatment for you.
The area will be cleaned and a grid will be drawn with a white makeup pencil on to the area to be treated. Depending on the size of the area will depend on the amount of solution injected in to each section.
Some mild discomfort may occur during treatment application due to the nature of this being an injectable treatment.
Who can’t have this treatment?
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Anyone with severe kidney or liver problems/disease
- Diabetes
- Permanent use of blood thinning medication
- Thyroid disorders
- Reminder – This is NOT a weight loss treatment.
Aftercare
- Avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise for 48hrs
- Avoid sunbathing, sun exposure and extreme heat or cold for 14 days post treatment
- Bruising may take a few days to appear, arnica can be helpful in clearing bruising
- It is advisable to avoid aspirin for 12 -48hrs after treatment
- Any tenderness should settle as swelling/bruising goes down.

What does the treatment entail?
The injection is ideally suited for tackling smaller fat deposits. A combination of active ingredients, including Lipstabil N, is injected into the area using a micro needle. Results are visible and fully achieved after a few weeks. For best results, these injections should be repeated approximately three times, at intervals of 4 to 10 weeks
How long is the appointment?
For your first time including your consultation your appointment will be approx 40 minutes.
What results can I expect?
You can expect it to take approx 2-3 weeks before you start to see a reduction in fatty deposits around the chin and jawline, giving a slimmer and less wobbly appearance to the face.
For larger areas, you will begin to notice the effects after 2-3 weeks, but should allow up to 8 weeks for the final result to be apparent. Typically 1-3 treatments will be required to achieve your desired result, but this will be discussed in your pre-treatment consultation along with your expectations. This treatment has a high patient satisfaction rate. We will only treat patients who are within 1 stone of their ideal body weight and around 3cm of pinchable fat, as this treatment is not intended as a weight loss solution
Does it hurt?
Some mild discomfort may occur during treatment application due to the nature of this being an injectable treatment. Although discomfort is generally minimal, we can use a numbing cream to help with pain management should this be required. (PLEASE NOTE that if you have your appointment during your menstrual cycle, the pain level could be intensified.)
Is there any downtime?
There may be redness, bruising and swelling that could last 3-5 days. You can take over-the-counter painkillers but are advised not to take anti-inflammatory painkillers such as ibuprofen.
How many treatments will I need?
For body treatments, approx 4-6 sessions.
For chin treatments, approx 1-3 sessions.
