Fat Freezing
Best suited for stubborn pockets and body sculpting
Areas that can be improved – Stubborn areas such as inner thighs, lower abdomen and ‘muffin tops’
On average clients can expect to see a 20%-40% reduction of fat in the localised area. As the body takes several months to flush out the dead fat cells, result will be visible after 6-12 weeks.
3D Cavitation
Best for Overall fat reduction
Larger areas of fat such as the abdomen, thighs and ‘muffin tops’ can be treated.
Results can be seen from the first treatment with an average loss of 2-4cm per treatment.
3D Radio Frequency
This treatment is best for skin tightening, smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles, fat melting and reducing the appearance of cellulite.
Areas that can be improved are areas with loose skin and cellulite such as the back of the thighs, lower abdomen and ‘bingo wings’. Results can be seen from the first treatment and will improve with each treatment.
3D Shockwave
3D Shockwave is best for pockets of fat, cellulite & skin tightening.
Areas that can be improved include outer and inner thighs, arms, hips, buttocks and stomach.
Results can be seen as quickly as 2 weeks after starting a course.
How the process works
At your appointment a full consultation will take place to ensure this is the best treatment for you.
If you are having fat freezing – a cold pad is applied to the skin and the machine attachment is placed on the body area to be treated. You will feel a tight vacuum effect on the skin which can feel a bit like a pinch. The machine will slowly lower its temperature to cause the death of the fat cells but it won’t feel particularly cold on yourself.
Ultrasound cavitation will produce a slight ringing in your ears for the duration the handpiece is connected to your skin. There is no other discomfort or pain.
Radio Frequency will heat up so feel quite warm on the skin, when using the vacuum effect it will also have a tight suction on the skin.
Shockwave has two tips – the flat tip just feels like a vibration on the skin. The pointed tip can feel a little sensitive on the skin but no major skin discomfort
Who can’t have this treatment?
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Anyone with severe kidney or liver problems/disease
- Diabetes
- Permanent use of blood thinning medication
- Reminder – This is NOT a weight loss treatment.
Aftercare
- Avoid alcohol 24 hours before and after treatment
- Eat a well balanced diet on the day of the treatment
- Avoid eating a heavy meal 2hrs before and after treatment
- Avoid caffeine 2hrs before and after treatment
- Drink 2 litres of water DAILY!
3D Radio Frequency – The above info plus:
- Avoid any heat on the treated area for 48 hours, including sunbeds
Fat Freezing – The above info plus:
- Bruising may take a few days to appear, arnica can be helpful in clearing bruising – This can be apparent for up to 10 days
- Redness may be present for up to 4 weeks
- Any numbness will subside gradually
- Wear loose fitting clothing until redness and numbness subside

What does the treatment entail?

How long is the appointment?
Depending on your treatment, times vary between 30 minutes and 90 minutes.
What results can I expect?
Cavitation – Results can be seen from treatment one, with an average loss of 2-4cm per treatment. Results will be improved during each treatment – If a heathy diet and plenty of water is maintained.

Does it hurt?
Some mild discomfort may occur during treatment with fat freezing and Shockwave (PLEASE NOTE that if you have your appointment during your menstrual cycle, the pain level could be intensified.)
Is there any downtime?
There may be redness, bruising and swelling that could last 3-5 days. You can take over-the-counter painkillers but are advised not to take anti-inflammatory painkillers such as ibuprofen.
How many treatments will I need?
Fat freezing is generally a one off treatment but for more stubborn areas you can treat it again after 8 weeks.
All the other 3 technologies will get better results if you follow a course of 4-8 treatments, best results are when the course is taken weekly.
