Anti Wrinkle Injections (Botulinum Therapy)
Anti wrinkle injections more commonly known as Botox is an injection that consists of small, high quality toxins which work to relax wrinkles, making them look softer and appear less visible.
The results will last between 3 – 6 months depending on the area treated. A two week follow up appointment is required to ensure everything is perfect and where absolutely necessary a top up will be administered ONLY if needed.

Although your treatment is administered by Becky Laroc – As she is not a Medical professional you will receive a full consultation prior to your appointment with our Doctor. Once the Doctor has confirmed you can go ahead with the treatment, you will complete a full consultation form Becky will be able to treat you.
The area will be cleaned and the areas to be treated will be marked with a white makeup pencil. Depending on the issues within the area will depend on the amount of solution injected in to each section.
Some mild discomfort may occur during treatment application due to the nature of this being an injectable treatment.
Treatment Details?
- You cannot have this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Under 18 years
- Permanent use of blood thinning medication
We currently offer treatments on the following areas:
Crows feet, Forehead and the frown lines (between the eyes)
Each area is classed as one area – Please note you cannot have the forehead treated without having the frown lines treated as the muscles work against each other and you could end up with an unwanted drooping brow.
Bunny lines – fine lines around the nose
Gummy smile – fine lines around the lips
Masseter – to stop you grinding your teeth
Platysma bands – to soften the muscle and give you a more youthful look around the neck
Hyperhidrosis – excess sweating in hands or underarms
Aftercare
- Do NOT lay flat for 4hrs after your appointment to avoid migration.
- Avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise for 48hrs
- Avoid sunbathing, sun exposure and extreme heat or cold post treatment
- Avoid makeup and touching the area
- Avoid any massage or rubbing
- Bruising may take a few days to appear, arnica can be helpful in clearing bruising. You may find you have a possible headache or a feeling of heaviness. Apply a cold compress to ease these symptoms.
- Make sure you continue to move the muscles up and down for the next few days to help spread the product.
Please note it takes a few days for the results to start to show and 10-14 days for full onset of changes.

What does the treatment entail?
The injection is great for helping to smooth fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the muscles. A number of small injections will be made with a small insulin type needle. Numbing cream can be used if requested.
How long is the appointment?
For your first time including your consultation your appointment will be approx 30 minutes.
What results can I expect?
You will begin to notice a reduction in lines within a few days but expect it to take approx 10-14 days before you start to see the full reduction in fine lines and wrinkles in the treated areas.
Does it hurt?
Some mild discomfort may occur during treatment application due to the nature of this being an injectable treatment. Although discomfort is generally minimal, we can use a numbing cream to help with pain management should this be required. (PLEASE NOTE that if you have your appointment during your menstrual cycle, the pain level could be intensified.)
Is there any downtime?
In most cases directly after treatment there are no issues, but there may be some redness, bruising and swelling that could last a few days.
You can take over-the-counter painkillers and/or arnica but are advised not to take anti-inflammatory painkillers such as ibuprofen.
How many treatments will I need?
After your initial appointment, you will return at 2 week for a follow up. If necessary some additional product may be administered if needed, but this is ONLY if absolutely necessary.
