Aftercare
- Refrain from touching the treated areas so the transfer of bacteria will be limited.
- Avoid any activity that could irritate the area and things that would cause friction or sweating, such as physical exercise, hot tubs, etc. as these activities can increase swelling.
- Avoid sun exposure or the use of tanning products.
- Avoid using soap or water saturation on the treated area.
- If treating underarms, do not use deodorant for 24 hours.
- For electrolysis on the face, try not to apply make-up for at least 24 hours. If you must wear make-up, mineral-based make-up is the best option.

What does the treatment entail?
After a full consultation, we will pre numb the area.
For the treatment we will then use a very small heated needle/probe that penetrates into the the root to detach or destroy it from within its structure so it can be removed.
How long is the appointment?
You can choose times between 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 60 minutes
What results can I expect?
Your unique hair growth concerns and expected results times will be discussed in your initial pre-treatment consultation.
Does it hurt?
Depending on the skin concern and area will impact what it feels like. We will use a topical anaesthetic to minimise the discomfort but you will feel a short burning sensation.
Is there any downtime?
In most cases you are left with either a small mark or a few swollen hair follicles. For most this means very little if any downtime.
Hair Removal - How many treatments will I need?
It can take between eight to twelve sessions to permanently remove your unwanted hair. However, this varies person to person, taking in factors of the thickness and density of your hair.
