Coming Soon: PDO Threads in Bromley

We’re excited to announce that we are introducing PDO Thread Lifts to our aesthetics clinic in Bromley. PDO stands for Polydioxanone – dissolvable sutures used to lift and tighten sagging skin on the face while enhancing your natural contours. This popular aesthetics treatment is essentially a ‘non-surgical facelift’ dubbed the ‘lunchtime facelift’ – taking only around 1 hour to complete.

Are you interested in finding out more about this revolutionary skin aesthetic treatment? Read on to discover some of the benefits of PDO threads and get an idea of whether it’s the right anti-ageing treatment for you.

What is a PDO Thread Lift?

PDO thread lifts are one of the most popular anti-ageing treatments available right now. However, it’s not a new thing. Surgeons have been using PDO threads successfully for surgical procedures since the 1980s because they are invisible to the eye, non-scarring and fully dissolvable after 6-8 months.

To carry out this facelift without a scalpel, a fully trained and experienced aesthetics practitioner will create several tiny semi-permanent stitches through the skin on your face. These stitches will lift the folds and treat any sagging skin or tissue. While lifting and tightening the skin, the PDO threads will also trigger the body to produce more Collagen, which will, in turn, support newly tightened skin and promote greater elasticity. The result? Instantly smoother, tighter skin with a soft, natural look.

Benefits of PDO Threads

This non-surgical facelift helps reverse the effects of ageing, including:

  • Smoothing wrinkles, deep creases and fine lines
  • Tightening and lifting saggy skin and folds
  • Boosting Collagen and Elastin to improve skin texture and elasticity

We will offer several PDO threads treatments in Bromley, including brows, jawline and full face. Please get in touch to book a consultation and find out more.

One of the other benefits of PDO threads is that it’s a speedy procedure. The treatment will take approximately 1 hour with same-day results! It’s an excellent option for people who would like a facelift but can’t afford a traditional surgical facelift or would prefer to go down the non-invasive route.

As with any aesthetics procedure, there may be temporary swelling, redness or slight bruising after a PDO lift. However, these symptoms will subside within a few days, and there is a far lower risk of complications than traditional facelift surgeries.

How long does a PDO Thread Lift last?

It will take between 6-8 months for PDO threads to completely dissolve. However, you can expect the results from a PDO thread lift to last anywhere from 12-18 months.
