A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin. A specially formulated gel will be applied to the skin to allow the handpiece to glide smoothly across the skin.

The machine sounds a little bit like an electric toothbrush and the tiny needles will pules out the handpiece as they glide across the skin.

Without numbing cream the treatment will take approx 30 minutes. With topical numbing applied treatment will take approximately 45-60 minutes.

If completing a course of Microneedling you should see a noticeable difference in your skin. It helps with fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, other scar tissue, pigmentation and uneven skin tone.

Please note the skin is a process so it can take up to 4 weeks before you will start to see results.

SkinPen Microneedling does not hurt, it will feel like a light scratch on the skin. As your treatment sessions progress, if going deeper with the needles there may be some slight discomfort in a few cases.
